My rating is really a zero - can’t even give them a 1. The LG refrigerator that we ordered arrived with a shattered glass door. We witnessed the delivery truck driving very fast toward our subdivision and make a hard left turn that could have caused this damage if the fridge was not properly strapped down. Of course we don’t know for sure how it happened, but the delivery guys did say that their previous delivery also involved a damaged fridge. But the real rub is, we chose Costco over Home Depot because we heard their delivery service was better, we even paid $2oo more than the Home Depot price because we are loyal Costco members. Then we were told the fridge is out of stock so “pick out something else.” Nope - we want what we chose so we went to Home Depot who had 68 of this model in stock. Now Costco won’t call us back as promised to arrange for the refund! It has been 33 hours and we’re still waiting - calling them does no good because yoy get an unempowered rep who can’t do anything except tell you to wait for the call. I’m so disappointed in Costco.

We bought a refrigerator from Costco. The delivery guy said that he needed to take the front door off to bring the fridge inside. He then proceeded to unscrew the hinges from the door frame despite my husband telling him NOT to do that, and instead take the pin off the hinge to get the door off. He claimed that "it is the fastest way to get this done". During this process, he damaged our hardwood floor of the foyer as well. And when they brought the fridge in, they removed the protective wrapping before actually sliding it in place, and ended up scratching and scuffing the fridge door. While leaving, they went to put the front door back and screwed it in with a power tool, stripped most of the screws and the door would not close properly when they were done. It was sagging on one end and we pointed out that its not closing. His reply was "this is above my paygrade, you need to call Costco". He would not even attempt to look at the front door and left. We called Costco, explained all that had occurred and they opened a claim. It was the front door and we could not wait, so we fixed the door to the best ability so it can be closed. The insurance guy from the delivery company came out a week later and took pictures. We also gave him the pictures we had taken at the time of the delivery. Three days later, we got a call stating that it was minimal damage and they would compensate us $10 for the floor damage and hours we spent fixing the door. This was insulting to say the least. We called Costco back to let them know our experience with the claim, and they also washed their hands off stating that they let the delivery company handle the claim. Shame on Costco! We have been members for years and we will NEVER order anything large item to be delivered by them again.

Used Costco to deliver my washer and dryer and fridge. Costco does have good prices on appliances but their delivery service is terrible! Rude delivery drivers and they don’t even have the proper equipment to take the appliances to the 2nd floor after I made them aware it was on a second floor. Nightmare experience from a long time Costco customer. I will be looking elsewhere to get my appliances next time for sure.

3rd party delivery would not use a new water supply line, even when part of the purchase, lied and said my valve box was rusted and corroded, when I took pictures before delivery, amd wouldn’t even unpackage the refrigerator or test the water line/ive maker. Literally left my refrigerator with cardboard amd tape inside/out. Tbis was supposedly a “white glove” delivery.

the delivery guys were very professional. I was informed when they would come, they called me to remind me, they access the area most efficient to bring in the items. It was done and they were great. Although one appliance had a scratch on it we looked at the and he did take a picture and informed me he will let them know. However, I didn't think it would affect the performance of the produce. will follow up. thanks

Costco is the worst. Four appliances purchased. One damaged but installed , I was assured partial refund would happen, hasn’t. One they refused to install. One was put in place but couldn’t connect since they damaged the second part which I wouldn’t accept. I’ve been fighting with them through email for two weeks. One department handles all the damaged items and they dont get back to you and you can’t talk to them on the phone. I regret buying from them and continue the fight for what I bought.

I think I lucked out and everything went fairly well although they did charge me for installation of dishwasher when they said there would be none. It is not typical but they definitely jumped on selling the installation fees. In the end, I would have had to pay even if bestbuy or homedepot but these two failed.

Purchased LG top loading washer & gas dryer April 2023. Delivery was fine however the washer was leaving white residue all over my work black clothes and just not washing correctly so requested a return and ordered LG front loaders from Costco. I arranged for the return and new delivery to be made same day 5/20/23 between 1:30pm - 3:30pm was my delivery time. Fast forward... it's 4:30pm and I'm still waiting so I call logistics to get ETA. The young girl answers and is like ugh I don't know what happened but you should get a call between 6pm and 9pm. I'm now irritated because that's not an answer! I ask for a manager, she then puts me on long hold. She then says the washer and dryer were damaged beyond delivery. I ask why wasn't I notified as that's common sense that you call the customer. She then offers $50 for my trouble. I still want to speak to a manager. I get put on hold for awhile and a very rude and condescending "Lonnie" starts spewing out how there was an accident and that's why they didn't call. He said no one got their deliveries and until they got back to the warehouse to access the damage they'd call customers. I'm like so the first girl said mine were damaged no mention to an accident, if there truly was an accident I am understanding things happen however the story seemed it was being made up as he noticed I wasn't having it. My daughter worked for Home Depot over 5 years and she said that is the #1 excuse used to customers when the deliveries did not go as planned. If Lonnie truly was a manager he needs training on customer service. I asked where he worked and said E Logistics. I now have paid for two sets of LG washers and the first set doesn't work and second set are in nowhere land. I have $4500.00 on my credit card and no washer! Not okay, Costco needs to get their delivery issues under control.

The delivery drivers rang my doorbell to deliver my package. I was in the bathroom, so I quickly ran downstairs. I also quickly put my dogs outside in the backyard as well. I opened the garage because I thought it would be easier for them to bring the package through the garage. I walked outside to meet them. One guy was in the truck, and the other was in the back with my package. I looked at him and said, "Hi." He didn't say anything to me. He was messing around with the package in the back. I stood outside by the garage. He then shut the back of the truck. I was confused and thought they were backing up into my driveway. They then proceed to drive off. I was waving my hand at them, and they completely ignored me. I called the company, and they didn't have any excuses for why the delivery drivers ignored me. The customer service lady was very nice but said they could not guarantee the delivery today. I have cameras all over my house, so I rewatched the event. They were at my house for less than 10 min and completely ignored me.

Team arrived later than the time window I was given, with zero communication. One was obviously having a bad day and did not try to hide it. They took my front door off then when they reattached it, the deadbolt would not lock. They left garbage behind. And when I reminded him to level the fridge, he told me I needed to do that myself! He also did not show me anything about the fridge...he told me to read the manual. Very disappointed in the whole experience.

I placed an order for a Samsung Washer and Dryer, the delivery guys installed both except the dryer doesn't run. A brand new dryer doesn't work at all. Delivery guy said, Costco is going to call me in 5 minutes and after an hour when I called, they had no clue about it. Delivery guy lied to me. Costco is very slow on responding to this, I have a brand new washer and a non-working dryer sitting in my house. I think its better to buy from appliacne website directly.

Yesterday I was waiting on my new refrigerator to be delivered, and brought into the house . The outside logistics company they use is terrible guys called me at 7:45 in the morning saying on the way be ready etc . You think the music in the car would be turned down to speak to me nope had to yell to even hear them . Guy come to the door with a bad attitude tells me he can’t get the old one out the door . I measured before it will fit out it came in right ! I helped guide him out as to not scuff the drywall or floor . We make it out the door he rushed out and from the force bumps me in the grass with the back of the refrigerator. Guy loses his cool and says to the other guy who should have been helping him instead of me put the new one back on the truck. It was like he was going to punish me or something. The older guy that was with him was better to deal with than the driver mike ! I told them to take the old refrigerator with them I’ll make arrangements to get it inside my house etc . They then jump in the truck speeding away like maniacs in my neighborhood! The was not a shred of professionalism in either of these guys that Costco trusts to be the face of there company what a joke !! I ended up being my own installer and delivery guy this day . Called Costco to complain they gave me a credit towards my bill for my trouble. Customer service has died as far as I’m concerned I’ve lost my faith in this company . I really considering getting a refund on my membership and never using them for anything! There’s a reason they won’t give you the number of the delivery service they use , they want to hide the terrible company that they use for a reason !

4 new appliances delivered and the Microwave made a horrible sound. Requested replacement. They wanted to fix. I requested a new one. I have called over 13 times. Every service member gives me a different story. 7 weeks later I finally received a replacement microwave but no installation. Now I'm being told I will have to find my own installer and they will reimburse me. I have absolutely no faith that this will occur. I have spent no less then 14 hours of my time on hold and speaking to Costco. I am promised call backs, told the appliance will be picked up, new one delivered and new one installed countless times and nobody follows through. It is so unfortunate that Costco continues to sell appliances when clearly the savings is not worth the headache! I was warned by three individuals that work for the call center NOT to buy appliances from them. Unfortunately I didn't listen and the savings is not worth the headache. Costco is member owned yet the members do not matter when it comes to appliances. If they cannot provide quality merchandise, quality service when issues arrive and have limited and incompetent installers- do us all a favor and stop selling appliances. I will never again buy any big ticket item on line from Costco and plan to cancel my membership. The Better Business Bureau should look into there practices.

We ordered a refrigerator from Costco in Ukiah. It was delivered by Elevated Deliveries Inc. run by Javier Iraheta of Fremont, CA. Two weeks later we noticed the floor was wet in the other room on the opposite side of the wall. We pulled out the refrigerator and saw spraying water. We called a plumber. The plumber found that the water line to the refrigerator connector was not even hand tight. Elevated Deliveries lied about their responsibility even though their employees had taken pictures and they knew there was no leak before their installation. Costco and the company took no responsibility. We had to pay thousands to repair our floor. I wish that I would have bought the refrigerator from a local appliance dealer and in the future, that is what I will do.

The only reason I rated it a 1 was because I didn't have the ability to rate them any lower. My delivery started off with the driver calling me to tell me he can not locate my house and that I must have given him the wrong address (I think I know where I live). Oh and this discussion happened while he was sitting in front of my house, glad he couldn't find it. As he continued to get ruder if that was even possible, he told me he was just gonna drop the fridge off in my driveway and I can deal with it. I insisted he bring it into the house and install it. He plugged it in and left, leaving me to remove all the wrapping, unbox the drawers, connect water line, etc. Then upon leaving he decided to text me pictures of the street signs along the way continuing to insist I gave him the wrong address. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH HORRIBLE SERVICE and I have had my share but this was completely unacceptable

Didn’t happen. Then called and talked to customer service. I was on the phone for 45 minutes. She says d she’d fix it. Didn’t happen. Now I just decided to dispute it on my credit card. We’ll see what happens. THEN!! My oven I ordered 2 weeks ago still doesn’t have a delivery status. I canceled it just now. Let’s see how long they keep my money with all three items I have not received.

Ordered a GE dishwasher from Costco. Delivery guys were rude, refused to install the new dishwasher and also refused to take the old one...which was the whole reason we ordered from Costco to begin with. Turns out, dishwasher was damaged. We spent 4+ weeks trying to get someone to come pick up the dishwasher out of our garage. We got the runaround and I literally have no energy to explain how many phone calls and hours on hold I wasted... constantly told we'd 'hear something'. FINALLY someone from GE called and said they were coming that afternoon to get the dishwasher. Some guy showed up and picked it up. The next day we get an email letting us know that their records showed that we refused the pickup. We emailed and called immediately telling them we did not refuse the pickup and somebody did in fact take the dishwasher. We we're told that there was nothing they could do as their record showed we refused it and they have no record of anyone coming out to pick up the dishwasher. We have explained the situation to so many different people both at Costco and GE. We are still being told our money can't be refunded. We have no idea if we were scammed or what's going on. They're mistaken if they think we're just going to let this go, it wasnt cheap and we just want our money back. Never again

Others have called it worst delivery ever. And they are correct. A nightmare experience. I had to leave town unexpectedly because an old friend had entered hospice. My daughter was home, so I assumed the delivery experience for new refrigerator would be uneventful. When XPO Logistics (Costco’s contractor) got there they refused to haul away the old refrigerator. I had to call from my friend’s deathbed to hear the XPO delivery guy lie to me over the phone. He said the order did not include haul away. I ordered frig from Costco precisely because it included free haul away. I have order receipt to prove that the service includes free haul away of old fridge. Next the XPO guy turned off the water and installed the frig, but did not bother to turn the valve back on and restore water service. After the driver left, I received a frantic call from my daughter that the water had been cut off. When I called from the deathbed of my friend and tracked down the XPO guy, he lied 2d time that he did not cut off the water, claiming that my daughter turned off the water to the house. At my insistence, driver promised to return at end of day to turn water back on. But XPO driver lied a third time, he did not return. My wife called the town water department, who came over and was unable to turn water back on because XPO had tightened valve so much. Because XPO/Costco did not return, my wife had to find a plumber after hours, and after many calls finally found a plumber who came and charged $350 to turn water back on.

I received a call at 7:20 am from the delivery crew that had given me a window from 8-10 am. I told them to wait until 8. But really to call me at 7:20 am asking me to take delivery? Moreover, I was trying to coordinate with their vendor since Thursday to ensure that installers would arrive around the same time as the delivery crew. Guess what they never did arrive on Saturday. There's a strange smell coming from the unboxed LG Wash tower that the delivery crew left in my living room. It smells like a chemical. It's 95 degrees outside and I can't open the door. I am inhaling this chemical due to Costco's negligence or is it Continuum Home Solutions' negligence. Did they try to put themselves in my shoes? I have a small space which is why I was emailing them since Thursday. It backfired. Very sad. I was on the phone with Costco logistics for an hour. While the lady was very sweet and I gave her a great review when she transferred me to the survey, now I wonder if she (Costco logistics) could have offered that I use Sterling appliance or a responsible, reliable vendor so I would not be exposed to strange chemicals being emitted from the LG Wash Tower that they left in my living room. I try to be understanding but guess what? I will never ever order an appliance from Costco. I recommend that you do not either. I wish I had gone with Sterling Appliance, Home Depot or Best Buy. Can someone tell me what to do about the chemical that is burning my eyes. I am certain it is coming from this unit that just came from the Costco warehouse? I hope Costco is reading this and will remedy the situation even though it is Sunday tomorrow. If I am harmed by the chemicals in my living space, should I contact an attorney. Gross Negligence!

Unsafe installation of dryer! We ordered a washer and dryer to be installed (since other places didn't have them available for months). The installers installed the appliances quickly, asked if we wanted a new gas line but said that ours looked fine. Once they were gone, I tried to do laundry and realized that they never turned the water on. We quickly noticed the smell of gas, but assumed it was just residual smell. The smell did not go away. We are now 36 hours after install, all doors and windows are open and Costco cannot have someone come check the install until tomorrow. Terrible incompetent installers, poorly trained in a potentially dangerous installation, and customer service doesn't seem to care. I will obviously be paying a professional to come reinstall the appliances to be sure my family is safe. And I should have waited the 2 months and used a proper installation company!

Yes we had them deliver a fridge and the guy who delivered it was rude when he first came in and said we gotta leave these doors open those cats need to be put up. Second he ripped the linoleum when he pulled the old fridge out and said he didn’t have room to remove the fridge that he was taking and replacing but he couldn’t put the old fridge or the new fridge was on the truck. Third he had pulled the fridge out I was vacuuming behind it he comes in you do that when I’m done. I had been vacuuming for 10 minutes already because he wasn’t doing anything. Then he proceeded to get an attitude and say I had an attitude and when I specifically said you weren’t doing anything I have been vacuuming for 10 minutes already and I was like and he proceeded to get all cocky and arrogant and said well you can choose another delivery date we’re leaving. As they are loading the new fridge back on the truck. They are pushing it along the road scraping the underneath of it. So don’t buy a new fridge because it could be damaged already. Then sits outside in their truck and smokes a cigarette and gives me nasty looks. Worst I mean worst service ever. And they damaged the kitchen floor.

BUYER BEWARE! Fail from start! Do not buy your appliances here. 2-wk late delivery. 1+month late install (both required multiple calls). The most expensive Kitchenaid dishwasher I've ever bought worked 10:14 months. I'm now 3 months into the warranty waiting for 'part', plus there is a RECALL. COSTCO has no skin in the game once past the 90-day return, pointing fingers at the manufacturer-supply chain problems. They could fire customer service and save paying salaries - just keep the recorded message: You are valued, please hold.... (forever!) My solution: buy a not so fancy brand for 1/3 the price at my local hardware store. VERY DISAPPOINTED with entire process. The one I let them junk worked better than this one!!! NOT HAPPY.

Epic Fail!! Waited three weeks for a supposedly in stock range. Terrible delivery crew finally showed up with wrong range. Wrong model, wrong color, and it was gas not electric. They scratched the floor taking my old range out and then just got in their truck and left. Costco charged my credit card within minutes of my order but it's been a week and I still have no refund. I will never buy another item from Costco that I can't fit in a shopping cart and wheel out the door. I had similar experiences buying a car and hearing aids through them. Lesson learned!

Had refrigerator deliver by Costco. Door handle was removed during delivery and asked them to put back on right side of door rather than left. He said he didn’t have time and would put it work order right now to have someone else come back to do it. Still hasn’t happened 13 days later, 3 extended phone calls and lots of wasted time later still no resolution, just get a run around. Tried to email them but Costco won’t accept customer service or complaint emails. Live chat doesn’t let you explain situation. Most frustrating and worst delivery experience EVER!

Purchased an LG Gas Range & Microwave package, with a very good price. After Costco Logistics confirms the appliances were received locally and after a scheduled installation date is set, they email to say "sorry" but we do not have anyone to install you appliances. Additionally, they stated that they can't cancel the order because it was shipped so I'm not at the mercy of Visa Card (no AMEX). This is beyond ridiculous and will be my last Costco.com purchase! I have a generator that was delivered some 6 hours later than the scheduled time and had to miss an important event which I paid for. Horrible experience, they need to get out of the appliance game if they cant deliver, oh and install!
